Last day to register to vote is April 7th, so DON"T delay if you have not registered!
We (obviously) encourage voting. But the Republicans in the state of Indiana have made voting much more difficult. Remember that you MUST take your picture ID that is GOVERNMENT issued with you into the polling place to vote, even if you are sure they'll know you. (STAY TUNED!!!This is being deliberated by the U.S. Supreme Court.)
Contact the following places to be sure you are registered to vote, know where to vote and understand your rights:
Check www.IndianaVoters.com for your voter registration information and polling place location. This is supposed to be a bipartisan site and is currently presided over by the Republican Secretary of State. You'll need Adobe Acrobat for some of the pdf documents on this site. See below for the link to get that download. The toll free number for that office 866-IN1-VOTE.
If you'd rather use a strictly Democratic site, the Indiana Democratic Party web site also has a whole page with Adobe Acrobat pdf documents related to voting in Indiana (including en Espanol).
